Ready to Sun Worship this Weekend! It will be hard to top last weekend exploring beautiful Baja with friends but I’m up for the challenge. Looking forward to watching my youngest’s baseball game, celebrating a friend’s birthday at a backyard BBQ and hitting the beach.
A few things I thought about this week…
- Rich People Cheating. So did you hear that rich actresses with sculpted arms are committing fraud to get their kids into college? Think of what college means for many American families. For many of us, it’s literally why we chose our neighborhood, why we stay in a job we hate, why we stopped having kids at 1 or 2. It cuts to learn people are cheating a system we believed to be a meritocracy. What can this teach us about how America works? - Don’t Sleep on Pete. Loving the genuine, articulate pragmatism of Pete Buttigieg. Some say Pete IS the person we HOPE Beto to be. I’m doing what I can to make sure he makes into the democrat primary debates.
- I heard this recently and it has me thinking…“A hope hides a fear; a fear hides a hope.” Whoa!!
